[1871-30 Jan] ISAAC BRASWELL Deed to John Boseman

This indenture made and entered into between ISAAC BRASWELL and his wife ELIZABETH BRASWELL of the one part, and Jno D Boseman of the other part witness that for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred and five dollars to him in hand paid, by the said party of the second part, the receipt whereof id hereby acknowledged, hath this day bargained and sold, and do hereby transfer and convey unto the said John D Boseman, his heirs and assigns, one half of certain tract or parcel of land yet undivided lying and being in the county and state aforesaid. One the ______ of Meadow Branch adjoining the lands of B W Brown, Fred Proctor, Mrs Polly Calhoun and others, the whole tract containing one hundred and one acres more or less. The said land have been bequeathed to me by the late Elizabeth Griffin, in her last will and testament, proved at the Feb. term, 1859, of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions for said county. The half by this deed convey consisting of fifty and one half acres more or less, and is yet undivided. To have and to hold the aforesaid land, to him the said John D Boseman, his heirs and assigns in fee simple absolute. In witness hereof the said ISAAC BRASWELL and his wife ELIZABETH BRASWELL have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seal this 30th day of January 1871.

In the probate court of said Co. the execution by ISAAC BRASWELL and his wife ELIZABETH BRASWELL to John D Boseman is this day duly proved before me John Norfleet, Judge of the probate court for said County, by the oath and examination of Jno J Sharp __?__of the subscribing for transfer thereto. And ELIZABETH BRASWELL the fair(?) consent grantor not being present, a commission will issue to David Lucas a Justice of the Peace of the County in which she resides authorizing him to examine the said ELIZABETH BRASWELL, taking her four and voluntary consent in the execution of said deed of conveyance.
